Service Work Opportunities

The hotline is in service 24 hours a day 7 days a week thanks to our volunteers! This service commitment is only once a month for a few hours AND it is done from the comfort of your own home. If this sounds appealing and you have one or more years of sobriety, please call (520) 882-7422 to arrange for a half hour training session and to find out which shifts are open.

We also need people with one or more years of sobriety to serve as 12th step volunteers. Currently this commitment is done primarily over the phone. To ensure the hotline remains open, our Home Answering volunteers use people from the 12th step list when people call in and need to talk. Please provide your contact information HERE if you would like to sign-up for our 12th Step list.

Monday through Friday for one shift, one day per week. The morning shift is from 9:30AM-1:30 PM and the afternoon shift is from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Volunteers answer the hotline, make reminder calls to Home Answering Service volunteers, sell AA literature and chips and a variety of other office tasks as needed.

Just for Today – This is a once a month commitment to assist with folding, stuffing, and labeling our monthly newsletter to mail out. This is usually done on the last Saturday of the month. Call Central Office at (520) 882-7422 for details.
